Fuel Efficient and Versatile

This edition of the Maverick gives you a choice between a 2.0-liter EcoBoost gas engine and a 2.5-liter hybrid engine. The gas engine churns out 238 horsepower, gets up to 30 MPG in estimated mileage, and pairs with either an all-wheel-drive or advanced four-wheel-drive powertrain, depending on the trim level. The 191-horsepower hybrid engine comes with front-wheel drive, offers all-wheel drive as an available option, and is ideal for those prioritizing fuel efficiency, as it gets up to 42 MPG.

Stylish and Ready for Work

Outside, the Maverick has a shorter bed length, allowing it to maneuver in small spaces. The standard FLEXBED Storage System makes hauling and organizing cargo easier by providing slots for creating your own segmented storage spaces and has a pre-wired 12-volt circuit, tailgate tie-downs that double as bottle openers, and many other functions. Every model also has a multi-position tailgate, and some of the many standout paint colors offered include Eruption Green Metallic, Shadow Black, and Desert Sand.

Comfortable On the Inside

The truck’s interior comes with air conditioning in the base model, though select trim levels have dual-zone climate control, as well as power-adjustable seats with a heating function. A power moonroof is available for most upper trims, and power windows, power door locks, a cabin particulate air filter, and rear under-seat storage bins are all standard. The high-end Lariat trim also comes with an ambient lighting feature and an acoustic windshield for calming drives.

Sophisticated Technology

Whether you’re using this truck for work or play, there are plenty of innovative technology features to enjoy, including the standard SYNC 4 infotainment system, which comes with a 13.2-inch touchscreen display. You can wirelessly stream audio from smartphones with this system through the standard six-speaker audio system or available eight-speaker B&O audio system. Select upper trims have a wireless charging pad, and even the base trim comes with multiple USB ports and 12-volt power outlets for charging personal devices.

Adaptive Driver Assistance

Also innovative are this truck’s many driver-assist features, with collision-avoidance systems like the Rear View Camera, Pre-Collision Assist, and Auto High-Beam Headlamps all coming standard. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System is also included, and you can opt for many extra systems, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System), Evasive Steering Assist, Trailer Reverse Guidance, Intersection Assist, and Speed Sign Recognition.
