Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 F-150 in available in eight different trims: XL, STX, XLT, LARIAT, TREMOR, King Ranch, Platinum, and Raptor. The XL has 17-inch wheels with a black grille and bumpers for a practical and functional exterior. The STX gets sportier 18-inch dark gray machined aluminum wheels with body-colored bumpers.
The XLT has a more refined look with a chrome grille and bumpers, while LARIAT models flash 20-inch chrome-like wheels and LED lighting. For a more rugged look, the off-road focused TREMOR has 18-inch matte wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires and unique badging. The King Ranch trim adds western flair with 20-inch chrome-like wheels. With more luxurious touches, the Platinum trim gets 20-inch gloss black wheels with satin-chrome accents. The Raptor's high-performance exterior features 17-inch wheels, 35-inch all-terrain tires, flared fenders, and skid plates.
Engine (Power)
Five engine options power the 2025 F-150 lineup. XL, STX, and XLT models start with a 2.7L EcoBoost V-6, which produces 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque — perfect for daily hauling. The 5.0L Ti-VCT V-8 increases the output to 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, available from the base XL to the trail-ready TREMOR.
For heavier work, the 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 delivers 400 horsepower with 500 pound-feet of torque and is available across most trims. Raptor models get a high-output 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 with 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. At the top is a 5.2L Supercharged V-8, which delivers 720 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful F-150 engine.
Performance
This truck delivers superior performance and can tow up to 14,000 pounds behind it. Hauling is made easy with a maximum payload capacity of 3,325 pounds.
Every F-150 comes with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission. The XL, STX, and XLT trims let you pick between two- or four-wheel-drive setups, while LARIAT, TREMOR, King Ranch, Platinum, and Raptor trims all come with four-wheel drive as standard. If you're planning to hit the trails, the TREMOR adds specialized off-road suspension, while the Raptor features Fox Racing shocks.
Interior
Dual 12-inch screens dominate every F-150’s cabin: a center touchscreen with SYNC 4 plus a digital instrument panel behind the wheel. The LARIAT adds comfort with Active-X captain's chairs and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
King Ranch models offer enhanced comfort with Del Rio leather and heated and cooled seats for year-round comfort. Platinum trucks have a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. Both top-tier models offer an optional twin-panel moonroof, along with custom ambient lighting that transforms night driving.
Safety Features
Ford incorporates Co-Pilot360 safety technology in every model. This includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking to help prevent front crashes, a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and a lane-keeping system that corrects drifting.
LARIAT and higher trims can add a 360-degree camera that makes tight spots much easier to navigate. Some models come with BlueCruise for hands-free driving on compatible highways, plus adaptive cruise control that automatically keeps a safe distance from traffic ahead. These practical tools make driving safer and more relaxing.
